For those of you who live in the end of south o.c., you know there isn't much to eat. Pretty much your standard chain restaurants and stuff. So its surprising to see a new interesting restaurant pop up. When flipping through the Japanese newspaper, we came across an ad that said a new restaurant was opening in Laguna Hills. Intrigued, I checked out their site. For those who remember Koto in Newport Beach, it seems as though the chef from there is the guy who happened Kappo Hana. Check out the place. The interior isn't much to write about, but the food is simple and tasty. The night we were there, it was almost all Japanese clientele. Some recommendations: Gyu Niku Nikomi, chicken karage, roasted duck..
