I love the chickpeas at the Food Corner kabob restaurants. If the food was Italian I would know where to look for recipes but I don't know if this particular recipe is from Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, etc. - and I am not familiar enough with the spices to know how how to decipher the ingredients/spices. The website says that the chickpeas are in an Afghan Tomato sauce but I have not been able to hunt that down either. Any suggestions?
I know that a lot of people love Ravi's chickpeas - I have not been there so I do not know if they are similar. I know that those are supposed to Lahori (Pakistan) style. Are there similarities with Afghan/Pakistan cuisine/recipes?
