Today I read the review by Aleta Watson, San Jose Merc.,and tried it for takeout. The lunch buffet was deelicious and I will definitely return for a sit down meal and order their kababs. (Can't wait.) I had this chicken in a mild curry and it was very much like a meat stew. The tandoori chicken was very tasty, moist and crispy on the outside. I think the tandoori chicken should be a standard for every meal here. I wasn't sure that it was tandoori at first b/c everytime I have had tandoori chicken it is really red. Next, I had this spinich and potato dish, and a spicy mushroom/green pea dish. The white rice with little bits of spices in it was deelicious but I didn't take much of it b/c it was almost out. There was another dish that was out as I made my way through the buffet line but it didn't matter b/c I couldn't get anything more into my to go styro container. I tried their mango drink that was absolutely deelicious and I would recommend drinking it before eating any of the spicier curry dishes b/c I couldn't taste the absolutely heavenly mango drink after the spicy mushrooms/ green pea dish. So I saved it for later when I can relly savor it. I tried the bread pudding and it was deelicious too, more like a custard. My mouth was burning up after the meal but quickly cooled down. This place is really deelicious!
