We just got back from dinner at Liberty Cafe. The June menu includes a pork rib chop with creamed corn, watercress, and roasted cherries. My wife ordered it, and it was fantastic. The chop had some sweet in it that went well with the slightly wilted watercress, and the creamed corn was from fresh. It was a huge piece, and I like chops better bone-in, like this was. I ordered the pizza, a white pizza with sausage, pine nuts, and Meyer lemon, which was also good, especially the thin slices of lemon. I saw some other diner who was really happy with the salmon, but I doubt it's as good as the chop.
The banana cream pie is still great there. There was also an apricot-cherry pie listed on the desserts this month that looked intriquing, maybe we'll try it in a few weeks.
