T. J.'s House Chinese Restaurant in Cypress

Chandavkl | Dec 15, 200501:01 AM

When one thinks of good Chinese food towards Orange County the natural reaction is to think Irvine, Westminster, and on the L.A. county side of the line, Cerritos. While it's not entirely true that the rest of the area is a wasteland for Chinese food, still it was surprising to find T. J.'s House at 6151 Ball Road in Cypress. While they do have chop suey and mu shu to humor the locals, they also have a strong menu of real Chinese items, including fish maw soup, snow pea leaves, a large selection of boba drinks and numerous seafood items. I had the pepper salt fish fillet and it was quite good. This is not a locale that I frequent, so perhaps other hounds can check this place out in more detail.
