Jr.'s Gourmet Burgers / Miami Springs

I had the occasion to visit and eat at Jr.'s Gourmet Burgers (7 Westward Dr./Miami Springs) on Thursday evening andI I'm ever so glad that I did as I had one of the very hamburgers that I've ever eaten.

Jr.'s is a smallish cafe with a counter that's located just off "the circle" in Miami Springs. Clean, neat and decorated nicely - - this establishment is dealing out some very unique hamburgers and on this evening I went with an "NAG Burger" which stands for 'Not a Girls Burger'. This 1/2lb. beauty came with mushrooms, bacon, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce and two onion rings. I ordered it medium rare, it was cooked perfectly. The quality of ground beef was extremely high and it had just the amount of fat content so it wasn't too juicy and with no hint of dry. The toppings created a savory flavor combination with two different levels of taste.

Their menu has several interesting burgers that I would like to try in the future like the 'Outside is in', the 'Acosta' and the 1lb. 'Fat Albert'.

The french fries were of extremely good quality as were the onion rings they serve. Everything went down well with my 'Arnold Palmer' and that led to the only disappointment that I could find - - no milkshakes. For me, I love a great burger, wonderful fried and a thick milk shake and next time I'm by I'll casually suggest just that.

Overall, Jr.'s Gourmet Burgers was an absolute delite. The servers - Jasmine & Karen were a delite and extremely knowedgeable about their product. I'm looking roward to my next visit!
