I normally don't eat in chains, but friends invited us to Jose Tejas on Route 46 in Fairfield last Saturday.
The place is huge, and was packed. About a 20-minute wait.
To our amazement, the food was very good! And cheap!
The bill for four of us was $68, and we ordered 5 dinners.
Crawfish Etouffe was good! Steak was good! Chips and salsa...good!
I need a reality check...have I lost my senses or is this a decent chain restaurant?
(By the way, we wanted to go to El Bandito but found that it is gone)
