Celebrated our anniversery here w/the sunday spa package and had had dinner at Jordan's. What a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting what we got.....
Food - we started w/the foie gras - excellent. excellent. excellent, split a ceasar salad - great, good balance on the dressing and nice portion for two.
Then for our main courses, i had the niman lamb perfectly done - i'm a hard core medium rare and these were meltingly good. She had the maine lobster and yum. it had that sweetness that only maine ones have.
Service - minimal. surprising as the food was so fantastic. pacing was good, just not the level that these prices should warrant - ie: had to ask multiple times for water, pour wine, waiting for dessert - ended up taking so long to get the waiter, we didn't indulge.
wine - bizarre....has anyone read their wine list - especially the european wines? they list two or three choices per region, except one bottle is 580 and the other bottle is 50 - looked like a good selection but it was kind of funny to be given a choice for really, really amazing, can't afford cause we're indulging, not winning lotto wine and kind of expensive but good wine.
views are great as well. wasn't cheap but, i'm wondering if there's a new cook in the kitchen?...?
