Finally made it out today...

Arrived at 10:45, restaurant already full (thought it opened at 11:00), about 10 groups ahead of us. We were seated within 15 minutes.

We ordered:

Pork Buns: Not BBQ pork, but dumpling filler. Good, all that dough is too filling. Pass next time.

Small dumplings w/soup: Delicious, delicate little dumplings. Tender, juicy. Comes with a bland soup w/shredded pancake. Only available on weekends, and limited (get there early). Highly recommended.

Pork and Vegetable dumplings: Nice, crescent shaped dumplings. A little doughy

Juicy Pork/Crab dumplings: The crab taste really turned both of us off-we only ate 3 of the 10. Had to go next door and get some Boba to wash out taste.

Some of the other dishes looked good, like the fried rice and steamed spinach. Next time I'll try those.

Overall, I thought Mei Long Village's dumplings superior. Certainly not worth the effort to get there from the westside. I may return and try other dishes, especially if I'm out by Pasadena.

My fried dumplings at Mandarin Deli yesterday blew everything away.

PS. It was very clean. Nicest bathroom I've ever seen in Chinese restaurant.
