Joliet Lenten fish frys

Mugs | Mar 18, 2004 06:26 AM

My wife goes for fish every Friday. Halfway through this liturgical season, she's extolling East Side KCs, West Side KCs, and Duke's on Republic. Yet to be tried are Post 1080, Croation Cultural Club, and St. George's.

East Side Knights of Columbus
1813 E. Cass, Joliet

West Side Knights of Columbus
2720 W. Jefferson, Joliet

Duke's Catering at Republic Banquet Hall
113 Republic, Joliet

American Legion Post 1080
2625 Ingalls, Joliet

Croation Cultural Club
1503 Clement, Joliet

St. George's Serbian Social Center (lower level)
310 Stryker, Joliet

I'm sticking with East Side KCs, but go early. They open at lunchtime. Noncommunicants might want to try their fried chicken.
