hi. just wanted to post about a really nice meal my husband and i had this past weekend at john andrews, on rte. 23 in south egremont, mass (berkshires).

the apps were great—grilled shrimp over corn cakes and chevre cheese on grilled tuscan (?) bread, served with a whole head of roasted garlic and olives and roasted tomatoes. yum!

for entrees, i had a terrific pork shank. the meat practically fell off the bone, and it came with grilled polenta. hubby had the grilled duck, which he also enjoyed immensely.

we split the caramelized bananas with chocolate sauce for dessert. with two glasses of wine, it came to about $105 including tax and tip. not bad, especially for the quality of the food. nice service, too...
