My wife and I had dinner at this out of the way place last week. It apparently has the tradition of very good food along with a mushroom theme. So, of course we tried both the mushroom soup and mushroom tart. Both were very good yet nothing to write home about. The soup was $7.00 for a small cup and the tart, similar to a piece of quiche was $9.00. I'll not descibe what it looked like when I thought back on it. The taste was good. Worth $9.00 for alittle slice? No. We aren't really wine drinkers but don't have too many drinks if you are wise, the bourbon and 7's we had were $7.50 each, four added up to $30.00, hummm. My wife loved her salmon main course. A small filet on a bed of rice with a tangy wassabe sauce for $28. My rack of lamb was hardly a rack, 3 bitesize pieces with a lump of mashed potatoes and some brocalli for $28. Well, at least we tried the joint out, for $122.00 I'd rather go elsewhere but it was Valentines Day! I also like how they add the 20% tip to your bill without even asking, no matter how many in the party. How pleasant a surprise.
