JJ North in Hayward, decent buffet

It is located inside Southland Mall in Hayward. This place had primerib that is meltingly tender, still pink and actually quite flavorful (not all fat). It really rocks IMO. I had so many disappointing prime ribs at buffets but this one is one of the better ones. I actually came back 5 times for it. With a little sprinkle of salt and gravy it becomes a delicious meal. This alone makes it worth it.

Also decent sausage in tangy tomato based sauce. Also decent ham, pasta, etc that is very edible. Soups here is also ok. Service is v good. Desserts is nothing to wrote home about. Salads is allright. It had a LOT of things going on and for $10 or so is well worth it and I do not feel bad/dejected afterward. And it is right here in Hayward. I have been to breakfast and it's definitely competent IMO.

I have been to many Las Vegas, Tahoe and Reno buffets and was not impressed with most except Bellagio and Caesar (Tahoe) which is decent with several nice
exciting dishes. This place is nothing like Bellagio which had seafood, several quality meats, sashimi, elaborate salads/desserts but the satisfaction level here at JJ North is very adequate. This is a gem in my book especially if they keep making their prime rib as tender as that last night.

Any other finds like these ?
