Anyone know where I can get a good jibarito in Manhattan (is it even possible?). The jibarito was invented in Chicago by the Borinquen Restaurant in the hugely Puerto Rican neighborhood of Humboldt Park. The sandwich has now been copied all over by Cuban and Puerto Rican restaurants alike.

This sandwich uses fried green plantains as the 'bread' component of the sandwich and inside is some kind of meat of your choosing, plus lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo, and garlic.
