No this isn't a wishful request for the impossible, but rather is a statement of fact. They can be found at a place with the unlikely name of Kong Fu Gyoza which is in the food court at the Mekong Plaza shopping center in Mesa. This is quite a feat for Phoenix as a request for this item on the San Francisco board took a while for one or two restaurants offering the dish to be identified. A number of varieties are available including pork, beef and egg. Also Beijing style za jian mein, shredded potato, and green bean noodles as well as all kinds of dumplings, cooked or frozen. They also have something called natural brain tonic porridge which apparently goes for $29 a pop. Kong Fu Gyoza is unit #127 on the far left side and is clearly much more of a Beijing eatery than Beijing Garden in the Chinese Cultural Center.
