JFX Farmer's Market 2010

JonParker | Apr 26, 201003:18 AM     63

Next Sunday (May 2) is the long awaited (by me anyway) opening of the JFX Farmer's Market. There will be a couple of things new this year,

According to the Sun blog, Many Rocks Farm will be offering goat meat, hormone and largely antibiotic free. In addition to chops and ground goat, she will have several kinds of goat sausage.

There's also going to some guy selling smoothies that are mixed with a bicycle powered apparatus. $5.50 with a 50 cent discount if you do your own pedaling. Sounds gimmicky to me, but who knows.

Next weekend there will probably be local asparagus, but it's still a week or two away for local strawberries.
