Jerusalem Market on Elm in Greensboro NC

bbqme | May 30, 201712:53 PM

Saw that these guys made authentic, spit-roasted shawarma, rather than the big hunk of pressed gyro meat at most Med/Middle East places so I thought I would give them a try. Was crushed when they told me they had already sold out for the day so I tried the kitfa instead, with baba ghanouj and hummus as my sides. Everything was really fresh, tasty, and a good value at $11 for the platter. For dessert, I got a pistachio boorma that was great, better than the ones a I get at Med Deli in Chapel Hill.

Definitely will return-- hopefully they will have the shawarma next time.
