Jeffrey's Grill & Catering | Carmel Valley

California American Outdoor Seating Takeout Pies Caterer Cobbler Coronavirus

On that rainy Sunday in April that was my shelter in place birthday spent alone, I slogged through the Carmel Valley farmers market because I wanted to treat myself to Ad Astra bread. But there was nothing sweet at the market as a stand-in for birthday cake.

I noticed the "open" sign on one of the storefronts in the shopping center and walked over to take a peek. Turns out that Jeffrey's is indeed the place to indulge a sweet tooth with a menu board of house-baked pies, milk shakes and other desserts. I grabbed a slice each of blueberry-peach cobbler and mile high apple pie. Serving size is generous for the $4.95 price apiece. Flaky and flavorful crusts and well-balanced sweetness on the fruit fillings. I'd get these again. And I'd be interested in ordering the chicken pot pie.

What else have you tried here?
