The Former Jefferson Bowl Coffee Shop?

I remember back in the 70s when Gene Sing and his wife owned and ran the former Jefferson Bowl Coffee Shop in Culver City. Gene used to whip up an off-the-menu dish called beef lo mein which was basically his Cantonese style pan fried chow mein without the veggies (only bean sprouts) covered with thick brown gravy. After the bowling alley closed down in the 80s, he opened up his own restaurant (I believe it was on Sawtelle?) and still offered it minus the complimentary Japanese cabbage tsukemono he served to all of his customers at the bowling alley. My question is (I know Gene and his have passed away), is it still around? Thanks.
