I am really excited to eat at his new restaurant, Bracero, opening soon (supposedly) in Little Italy. I've read some time ago that they planned to open Feb/Mar 2015. I'm hoping it show cases his beautiful rustic and local cuisine. I haven't been all that excited by Romescos, but His baby lamb cooked in a Caja China with all kinds of pickled veggies I had the Celebrate Craft several years ago was spectacular. His Apple braised pork butt in masa crepes on the Taste last night looked brilliant and tasty as well. I am hoping this will be the kind of thing we can expect at Bracero. Anybody heard news or have any insights?
