Some time ago Julie posted about this restaurant as being an enjoyable place for lunch. Based on her post I met a friend there for dinner last night. We shared the dim sum sampler as an appetizer. We got nine pieces - 6 steamed dumplings and 3 shumai. All we very good and nicely presented. My friend had green curry which she liked very much. I had, on the waitress's recommendation, Malyasian shrimp. The shrimp were perfect - fresh and plump and cooked exactly enough. The veggies and sauce were very good with a slight bit of heat. We shared the "Pyramid" for dessert. Very chocolatey and enjoyable but I may be losing my taste for desserts - I found it dull compared to what came before. We had a pot of Jasmine tea since we were driving to Philadelphia after dinner. Service was fine and friendly but not outstanding. The check was $50 (without tip). Both my friend and I intend to go back for more.
A word of caution - the woman at the next table had a discussion with the waitress about a wine that was mis-categorized on the wine list and the waitress seemed unable to understand the problem. Also, by the time we left at 6:30 there was a wait for tables. They do take reservations.
Good recommendation Julie!
