We will be having a family reunion in San Diego next weekend. There'll be fifteen of us. I've been reading up on two "Hong-Kong" style Chinese restaurants: Jasmine and Emerald. A few of us consider ourselves "foodies", while the rest tend to stick with the basics. I think either restaurant will be fine since you get something as basic as Chow Mein or as exotic as sea cucumber or shark's fin. I think Jasmine might be a little more expensive, but I don't think that will matter. I wanted to find out from the very knowledgeable San Diego Chowhounds which one you like best and what you think some of their best dishes are. Thanks!!
