Yes, I know it's easy to make home-made sauce, so please don't try to explain why I should make my own. Fact is, I live alone and work long hours and don't make a ton of money, so I find that buying jars of sauce save tons of time and money for a regular everyday meal. So here's my question -
What's your favorite sauce in a jar? I do want one that tastes fresh and home-made, and can be used for plain pasta, or making lasagnas and other dishes. I grew up on Ragu and Prego, but I'm really no longer a fan of either. Any ideas?
