Need my first Japanese Nakiri knife, need your advice

Hi there

I am living in Vancouver, BC. I am a home cook. Love to eat salad. Would like to get a Japanese
Nakiri knife to just cut veggies. Looking for a 165mm Nakiri knife for myself.

Should I get the one with the hollow scalloped pattern ?

Should I get white steel instead of stainless steel ?

Please kindly shed me some light.
