Hi! Having folks over for dinner on Friday and we're doing a Japanese theme. My husband is making sushi and for the non-sushi eaters I'm making miso soup, cold noodles, several other small finger food type dishes whose names escape me at the moment. But, I'm at a loss for dessert. The deal is we have a birthday we're celebrating. So do I abandon the theme and go with a birthday cake for dessert ('cause who doesn't want a birthday cake on their birthday?) or do I try to stick with the theme (which I'm finding nearly impossible?) Any ideas?
