Cresham Cottage has been the site of many restaurants most short-lived. After a dinner at Jansen the latest occupant it may now have a longer term resident. The revitalized interior is pleasant and bright, the service is good/not very good as it was imperfect for a white table restaurant. The limited menu has interesting options at moderately high prices. All at our table enjoyed their choices. Two soft shell crab dishes, a pork selection and a vegetarian selection which was the only entree to get a mediocre response. The Jansen Giblet selected by two was a disappointment as it did not present some of the components to the advantage of the cocktail. Two deserts were excellent. The bill for four entrees, 2 cocktails, 1 beer and 2 deserts totaled $208.00 +20% service gratuity. Parking can be a issue and currently reservation weekends can be a challenge. The potential for a very good dining experience is high given credentials of the chef garnered for time at the Four Seasons.
