I've enjoyed, so much, the restaurant recommendations here, so I thought I'd give a few of my own. I'm a certified chowhound from a L O N G line of chowhounds--mostly from the South.
In Tulsa, my favorites are Ursula's--can't remember what street, but I think it's 70th or something like that--near Oral Roberts University/Hospital. It's a great, great German restaurant. I highly recommend the pork schnitzel. The desserts are wonderful. Everything is wonderful.
Also in Tulsa, Jamil's steakhouse is a fixture. It's more than 50 years old and looks it. It's a Lebanese steakhouse, and has the most interesting side dishes...but it's delicious. Best steak I've ever had. I haven't eaten there in more than 2 years, so I hope it's still the best. When I lived in Tulsa, it was always winning one award or another. Jamil's is between 40th and 50th--off Memorial, I believe.
