Jamaican Sorrel - same as Hibiscus?

rworange | Jun 26, 200512:47 AM     11

I was at this Jamaican place today and they had an agua fresca like drink called sorrel. Is this the same as hibiscus used in the Mexican aqua fresca called Jamaica?

Couldn't find anything on the web that gave a good answer. Is the only difference the spices used in the drink? Recipe below.
