Jamaican Bakery Baldwin

OK, I'm a little chatty this AM...

There's a little Jamaican baker (I think it's just called Jamaican Bakery or something) in a strip mall on the northbound side of Grand Avenue in Baldwin. If you're going south it's the first one on your left below the Southern State. I went in once and got a beef patty. It was pretty tasty, though you certainly didn't want to look too close at the filling. Not the best I've had, but good. They have a couple of kinds of bread (gigantic whitebread-looking bread? Can someone explain to me what it is?), and I noticed that they serve lunch plates, like curry goat and mackerel with whatever it is that it's traditionally paired with.

Has anyone else tried anything from there? Also, could someone expound upon the bread? I'll ask about that on General Topics as well...
