Hi, all -- I would like to make this Bacon Bourbon Jam. It sounds wonderful and even though I'm vegetarian I think jars of it would make terrific gifts.

BUT - here's the question. The recipe is for making it and putting it in the refrigerator. Given that's it's meat based, I'm not sure it can even be water-bath processed safely. Can I process this so it's shelf stable? If so, how long would I process it for?
If I can't, then I guess I'll just do it as refrigerator jam and let everyone know that.
