Jam Making Question

I've got a bumper crop of passionfruit this year.

I'd like to make jam, but I don't want the fuss of actual canning.

Can I use any jam recipe and then just store it in the refrigerator instead of canning?

Obviously it won't stay as long, but I'll give extra away as gifts.
