My theory is that Jai Ya in Elmhurst, which used to be great but has gone so downhill that we never ever talk about it around here, may have gotten better.

Reason why: Thai immigrants are flooding into that neighborhood. Management must realize this. And if they're smart, they're seizing the opportunity to capture their business. obviously, you have to cook at a pretty high level to attract customers who've recently been eating in that great food country.

So, if this is the case, Jai Ya might be killer again and we've all missed it. anyone been there lately? I'll try to go soon, myself, and report back.
