A few months ago I was in my local FreshCo (Parliament and Dundas), which is a little out of my way, so not part of my routine. They had on special a couple of pallets of Jaffa Cakes, different flavours. I picked up a few boxes of black currant Jaffas, and they were excellent! Nice intensity to the jam - they tasted of black currant! (I actually can't recall the last time I had purchased cookies in a supermarket, though I used to get excellent cookies for my godsons from Karelia Kitchen.) When I returned about two weeks later, none were to be found. Unfortunately, I can't recall the brand. For some reason I think that it might have been Polish. Further frustrating me is that FreshCo doesn't carry them in the regular cookie aisle or the international aisle. Any thoughts on what the brand might be, and where I could find Jaffas would be appreciated.
