Jack's Old Saybrook

Went to Jack's over the weekend.

Just had a brunch salad, but went with son and daughter in law who are becoming regulars.

I really like this place. They did a wonderful job fixing it up, it used to be the Village Inn years ago and the Benjeman's.

This place is 10 times above either one.
My son is very critical of restuarants and he loves this place. He raves about the swordfish. He is also very fond of the wine list, with some unique wines listed.

I know from other posts the Jack's has suffered from poor service. I must say this was not the case when we were there. My son also said it has improved over the last month.

I too will make it a point to try Jack's more often, as I was that impressed with what I saw.I also feel that the prices are very resaonable, actually cheap, for the quality of food.

Anybody else try Jack's recently?

Let me know.
