on second visit was a little different.
Day 3 its already much busier, buzzing, in fact, and service less attentive, things a little slower arriving. Our entertaining server from our first visit, Bob, (not ben as i mistakenly wrote before) was busy serving the Mayor and his wife so we had Thomas instead who was less wordy, but still with some very good suggestions.

New raves:
House Cold Smoked Scottish Salmon
Organic Dakota Farms Beef "Pot -a feu"
Wild Porcini Mushroom and Chestnut soup

New "Oks"
Seared Local Dungeness Crab Stuffed Calamari
Very Slow Roasted Niman Ranch Natural Leg Of Pork

Not raving so much about:
Cherry Wood Smoked Dakota Farms Organic Beef Short Ribs
Spaghetti Di Farro

The day before we had been kindly treated to dinner, but this time we had to cough up our share of the bill. 3 cocktails, 2 bottles of excellent Cote du Rhone, water, and three courses per person worked out a $72 pp before tip. One of our mains was comped because they were out of the first choice so it would probably have been nearer to $80 each

I imagine it will be busier from here on still since it already gets a mention in todays chronicle
