Izzy's Deli-I found there best stuff

Just Larry | Sep 19, 200406:21 PM

When I mentioned to a neighbor that I thought Izzy's Deli was a total waste of time for good food, he mentioned that they have the best Hamburger and Onion Rings in LA. We went there today for lunch and ordered both. It is a half pound beef patty, charbroiled (order it medium)with a nice char and good solid beefy taste. It comes with cole slaw and fries, order them well done as they came on our order kinda limp. The Onion Rings were spectacular. Unlike any that I have ever had before. Battered and fried with a puffy, crispy, tasty coating. Very large order for under $5.00. Next time I might try to get them to put the burger on a Kaiser or Onion Roll. I am not kidding, this is worth a try. Wife and I split one burger and rings with 2 drinks, tax, tip, $20.00. Plenty of food considering that we only ate one fry each and left the rest.
