Izakaya in Tokyo (and general trip itin advice)

BSR84 | Mar 5, 201909:22 AM     3

heading to japan for the second time in may. i have most dinners mapped out, but wanted to work in one excellent izakaya. i saw a post raving about shinsuke, so i'm considering that but it seems a little out of the way. also considering kotaro or kaikaya by the sea since they are well reviewed and we could visit other shibuya bars afterwards. any intel on these izakayas or other recs would be much appreciated.

other dinner tinerary is as follows just fyi

tokyo

sushi sho masa
nikukappoujou (anyone been?)
takamitsu
hashiguchi
sushi sho
tukumi shingo

osaka
honkogetsu
