Izakaya Mai Now Open - San Mateo

Wendy-san | Nov 20, 200410:58 PM

We had a great meal tonight at Oidon Sozai Corner, the izakaya next to Suruki in downtown San Mateo. On the way to Lele for coffee afterwards (an attractive cafe right across from the Century Cinema) we saw that Izakaya Mai is now open in the place where Tombo used to be (2nd Avenue). Only one table was full (on the other hand Shabuway had a line out the door and Himawari was full). Hope to try it soon. Has anyone been there yet?
