Izakaya--anywhere in the bay??

Kerry W. | Jan 18, 2005 08:14 PM

For some who don't know, Izakaya is kinda like a Japanese bar w/ lotsa small appetizer-sized entrees. Ranging from skewers, chicken wings, roasted duck breast, seared ahi, edamame, tantalizing salads, etc. etc. (An example: FuRaiBo in SoCal, www.furaibo.com)

My question to everyone here: Is there a restaurant of this type in Northern California? I would figure in Japantown in San Francisco, possibly one in San Jose---I am a native of the area, and would love to take my friends to a place like that.

Very many thanks in advance.
