One of my favorite things to do in Japan is to
hit the izakaya! Okonomiyaki, grilled salmon,
sashimi, mmmm...... octopus cooked on one of
those grids of boiling oden.... delicious sake
from a local kura... my mouth is watering!

Are there any Japanese-style izakaya in the
city? Sakagura isn't quite what I'm looking for.
Their sake list is quite extensive, by the way,
but overpriced. All suggestions welcome!

Also, if anyone happens to know where there are
o-furo, Japanese bath, in Manhattan, please email
me.

Thanks in advance,
Josh

PS-I will check out the restaurants with the word
'izakaya' in Eric Eto's impressive list posted above.
Usually these places are not izakaya, though...
