Had a great night on the patio with friends at the Ivy. Really one of the unique LA dining experiences. Food is very good if not particularly creative. The fried chicken is great and the crab cakes were very well received. My wife had a lobster salad she loved and the shrimp pizza was a nice starter. Drinks and service were great. Just a very relaxed place to hang with friends and enjoy a nice warm night. Almost the exact opposite of the bad rap it sometimes gets for being snotty and stuck up. Anything but. Maybe thats from the 80s but not now.
