Ivory Mandarin Bistro - Dunedin

Finally! I have been looking for good chinese food in Tampa Bay for YEARS!

We have it!

I heard some raves so checked it out today. It reminded me very much of the good chinese restaurants I went to in New York City when I lived there. The wonton soup was very flavorful, I only wish they used spinach instead of scallion. Otherwise perfect. I ordered their beef with szechuan sauce medium spicy and was happy to find that the brown sauce was not the same tasteless sludge you find at every chinese buffet in this area.

I read that they have two menus...regular and a "special" menu that Chinese diners often order from. I did see the waiter give someone the special menu so next time I will take a look at that.

I highly recommend this place.
