I couldn't help it......JUST GOT BACK FROM BEST STOP !!!

I couldn't wait another day....I had the time so I just up and went.


Oh my GOD......I bought 5 pounds.
AND.....FIVE pounds of the SMOKED boudin !

Then I went to Babineaux's and bought 5 ponds of red boudin.
Honestly I have never had boudin SOOOOO good !
Like Hazelhurst said....the red is very rich.
The only thing I would change is the addition of more spice.
I spoke with the fellow there and he told me if I wanted to special order it......he would spice it up GOOD for me.
Basically the red boudin from Babineaux is a mild spice.
But it IS verrry tasty and rich.

By cooler was full.
I picked up a pound of cracklins and hit the road with my booty.
The cracklins from Babineaux's are EXTREMELY tasty.....I liked them better than the ones from the Best Stop.

Now......EVERYTHING is in the fridge and I can't WAIT till tomorrow so I can indulge all over again.
YUM !!!! It was well worth the trip.....and
I'll do it again as soon as I run out.
MAN ! This stuff is soooo unbelieveable I can now
say that living without it would be nearly impossible.

Thanks to all for your help. Till today..... I had forgotten how GREAT really GOOD boudin can be.

Now.....if I can just find some KILLER bread pudding.
