Long time lurker and I have posted once before (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/826822). This is my 7th time in Paris and this time we are coming for 4 weeks + 1 week in Antibes. For 3 of the 4 weeks my 7 year old will be in French language camp (yes, I am torturing her!). I will have 15 days of wandering and eating on my own for lunch.
Here's the thing. I like more casual. I am not going super fancy. Our small family of three would eat at Chez Denise everyday if we could. Real, authentic, and very French. We like that. I am not interested in ethnic when in Paris. I want to go to 2-3 lunches a week with a glass or two of wine for 40-70 euros. Some days I will grab a falafel and water - miznon, etc... I will finally try the bar at Comptoir and have the tartine at Poilane. I like Rose's Bakery to feel healthy. But when I eat, I want what I want. So what I am I missing, and how could I do it better?
We loved Le Rubis and Le Baron Rouge, but the bathrooms were terrifying for my 6 year old!!!
So here is where I am making reservations when my husband and one group of friends come in the 4th week:
La Rotonde. (I love their tartare, and my daughter thinks it is very fancy!)
Hugo Desnoyer ( loved it last time, and my 6 year old thought everything was delicious!)

Here is where I don't think I need to make reservations, especially if I go early enough for lunch. Should I make reservations? This is me, one solo diner:

My daughter and I will be going to Cligancourt, Port Vanves, and Bois de Boulogne. Any recommendations around those places for lunch or early dinner. How is Relais de Entrecôte? Quincy?
Am I missing something? I have been to Chez l'ami Jean, but when i was young and dumb and did not how to order. I am curious about Chez Dumonet, but reviews are so mixed. Years ago, Le Severo, Les Papilles, etc...loved it all, but is there some thing new or that I am missing? Can I go to any of these by myself for lunch?
Please, would love any advice or insight. If anyone wants to meet up for lunch, but I would love it. I have a food degree and worked for D'Artagnan in NYC for years, so do understand food!!!
