My wife and I are spending a week in Venice, Verona and Milan this coming end-Nov/early-Dec. I'm just putting the final touches on the plan for our trip, and it'd be great if I can get some feedback on our restaurant choices. We prefer the casual, low-key trattorias/osterias, as opposed to high-end fine dining types. Any feedback/suggestions will be very welcome!
Venice (staying near PG in the Dorsoduro area)
Day 1 (Mon): Trattoria Antiche Carampane (lunch) and CoVino (dinner)
Day 2 (Tue): Osteria alle Testiere (lunch) and La Bitta (dinner)
Day 3 (Wed): Trattoria al Gatto Nero at Burano (lunch) and Osteria Anice Stellato (dinner)
Verona (just passing through for the day, on the way to Milan)
Day 4 (Thu): Locanda 4 Cuoci (lunch)
Milan (staying near Milano Centrale)
Day 4 (Thu): Antica Trattoria della Pesa (dinner)
Day 5 (Fri): Nerino Dieci Trattoria (lunch) and La Latteria di San Marco (dinner)
Day 6 (Sat): Risoelatte (lunch) and Trattoria Trippa (dinner)
Day 7 (Sun): Day trip to Foxtown for the shopping, so only dinner in Milan. Have not decided where yet. Suggestions welcome!
Thanks in advance!
