We are heading to Rome, Elba, and Cinque Terre in May. Questions:
1) Rome. I've scrolled through some of the recent posts (best Gelato, Agate e Romeo, 4 less notices places in Rome, Rome Eats from 12/05 etc). Are there any other notable and/or ecyclopedic Rome posts anyone can point me to? We'll have 8 days in Rome, so we have a fair amount of eating oppotunities.
2) Elba Island. Any recommendations? Any particularly good books/articles about Tuscany that mention food in Elba?
3)Liguria - looking for recommendations in the Cinque Terre (we are staying in Manarola), Portovenere, Portofino, and Genoa.
Recommnedations on restaurants, markets and/or local specialities all welcome. Also, although my husband is an omnivore, I don't eat meat (but I do eat fish, eggs, dairy, etc) so non-meat options are particularly helpful.
