We're taking my father (and other family members, some of whom have never visited our nation's capital) to DC for the dedication of the WWII memorial over Memorial Day weekend. We anticipate a physically tough weekend for the elders in our group and are therefore trying to keep dining choices close to our hotel. We're staying at One Washington Circle. On the day of our arrival, I've chosen the buffet at the Dirksen SOB for lunch -- for the tourist value. And I've chosen Nectar for dinner that night. I'd appreciate your feedback on those choices, and I'm also looking for suggestions for a casually upscale Italian choice on Saturday night (after the dedication ceremonies). Daddy loves Italian, but I suspect that he (and the rest of us) will be too tired Saturday to dress up or venture far from the hotel. I'm also looking for Sunday brunch recommendations in the area. Thanks so much!
