Italian Pastries

Suze | Dec 6, 2005 06:37 PM

I'm looking for a place with a good selection of Italian pastries but individually sized. What I really want are some traditional Christmas themed pastries but generic delicious pastries will do. Most cafes seem to have the same old, same old, or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

I know that a lot of goodies are only available in cakes but I'm just one person, so I don't need a whole cake. If I have to get a few individual pieces and a few cake slices, that would be good too. I prefer to go and at the lower end of the price range.

My georgraphic restriction is that it has to be fairly easy to get to on the subway as I'm just visiting for the weekend. I love to go on treks but I'm really trying to keep that behavior in check.

I've been to Veniero's in the past and it's good but I want something more.
