I just want to express my thanks to everyone for their suggestions on where to find good Italian. We did make our way to Little Italy or "Petite Italie!" as one guy up there put it. We were told by a local about Luca's, but when we got there, it was packed. So we see Trattoria dei Baffoni right across the street and there's an employee outside on the bench relaxing. His name was Rocco and he invites us in. We had a great meal. This guy was from a town near Naples, same as one of my buds, so they shot the breeze bigtime. I had to try and squeeze in my Molisano pride. The food was terrific and the wine list was more than adaquete. What I really liked was that they seem to have different original pasta created by the chef each night. And "Il Baffoni", the owner, is there to sit down and talk to you. A nice Italian meal with real Italians. Can't ask for anything more.
Grazie a tutti!
