Does anyone know of a good bakery for Italian Easter bread (sweet bread, usually with a hard-boiled egg baked into it)? I tried the Easter bread at Regina Bakery last year, but it was too dry. I desperately need to find soft, delicious, eggy bread like my Italian grandmother used to make. (Oh, why didn't I get the recipe from her before she passed away?!?)
Anyway, if anyone knows such a place in Manhattan or Brooklyn, I would be eternally grateful.
